Eric Holder hid his agenda from the Senate Judiciary Committee (and Legal counsel to some of the detainees provided them propaganda)

As AJStrata points out, one Obama cabinet member is potentially in serious trouble, though he seems to be flying under the radar of the Health Care debate at the moment. Not only is the fact that "corruptocrat" Attorney General Eric Holder has held back a key amicus brief (dealing with the use of federal courts in fighting terrorism) from his Senate review very disturbing, and just another sign the Obama administration is anything but 'transparent' - but it turns out that it's now coming out this was not just a one amicus brief, buta whole suite of them:
As a nominee, Holder had "a duty of candor to provide all information requested by the Senate Judiciary Committee in connection with his nomination," said Stephen Boyd, communications director for Sen. Jeff Sessions, the ranking Republican on the committee. "It is simply unacceptable that briefs in such significant cases were not provided to the Committee so that they could be discussed during his confirmation hearings."It does, indeed, appear that our Attorney General has not only been hiding his true intentions all along, but clearly had a soft-on-terrorists agenda from the very beginning.
And if you even remotely harbor any doubts that Holder's agenda is dangerous for America and that allowing him to become AG was, borrowing AJ's term, "mind-numbingly stupid," Tom Joscelyn and Debra Burlingame have a must-read, highly troubling, piece in today's Wall Street Journal on Gitmo lawyers who provided propaganda to detainees (H/t - John Mccormack). Given that Eric Holder's DOJ is full of terrorist defenders, Joscelyn's and Burlingame's piece is all the more alarming.
According to Joscelyn's and Burlingame's Wall Street Journal op-ed, the Gitmo defense lawyers:
- Gave enemy combatants a brochure with instructions on how to falsely claim that they had been tortured and abused.
- Gave enemy combatants a hand-drawn map of the detention camp's lay-out, including guard towers.
- Incited enemy combatants against the military guards.
- Posted photos of Guantanamo security badges on the Internet in a transparent effort to identify U.S. security personnel.
- Helped enemy combatants communicate messages and interviews to their comrades and the outside world.
- Provided enemy combatants with reports that U.S. forces were sustaining devastating causalities from IED attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- Showed enemy combatants photographs of covert CIA officers to identify their interrogators in order to hand down future indictments against the interrogators for torture and war crimes.
So sleep well, America, you've got Obama-appointed AG Eric Holder and his GITMO-defending attorneys watching over you - making sure they have the rights of American citizens in order to be free to kill more Americans.
