Senior Canadian Government Official Coming To U.S. For Heart Surgery
Topics: Political News and commentariesAs Hugh Hewitt points out, there are many ironies here, especially as President Obama was in New Hampshire today to declare that it is overtime, and health care is on the five year line and that "we need to punch it over." ]
Apparently, he and his doctors chose for him to go to a "renowned expert in the procedure that he needs to have done," and it "was never an option offered to him" to have this procedure done in his province.
In other words, when it was a matter of his own heart surgery, the "Progressive" Conservative (I guess that's the Canadian equivalent of our RINOs) chose the best health care in the world -U.S. health care system.
