Rasmussen's 'passion index' has Obama at -17
Topics: Political News and commentariesDear Leader's approval continues to tank among likely voters, as shown by Rasmussen's daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday with just twenty-four percent (24%) of the nation's voters Strongly Approving of the way Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17:

Little wonder that Democrats are beginning to distance themselves from the president. Yet, as we previously pointed out here and as is even some party veterans note in the above -linked LAT piece, the damage is already done. The Dems running in 2010 voted for Obamacare, Cap and Tax, the Stimulus, Obama's huge government-expanding budget, etc., "so unless they can figure out a way to run away from their own voting records as well, they are still going to face voter's anger in November.
