Barack Obama, Saul Alinsky, and Obamacare

Topics: Political News and commentaries

As soon as I saw this image I couldn't resist putting it up, it's so representative of what we're now seeing in Washington.

The image goes well with Alex Caruba's interesting piece titled "Applying Alinsky: Why Obamacare Makes No Sense," in which he aptly suggests that Barack Obama is the apotheosis of Saul Alinsky's gameplan to destroy the republic and replace the Constitution with an all-powerful socialist central government.

Yes, Obamacare is a major step toward that goal. And if you want to get a handle on how on-target Caruba's piece is and just how scary the situation is with the far-Left ideologues in control of Congress, check out Andy McCarthy's "Transformation in which he points out that today's Democrats are controlled by the radical Left, and it is more important to them to execute the permanent transformation of American society than it is to win the upcoming election cycles. They have already factored in losing in November -- even losing big. For them, winning big now outweighs that.

And if Caruba's and McCarthy's pieces don't shake you up enough to make your jaw drop, then take into account what Kathryn Jean Lopez received via a DCCC fundraising e-mail from Nancy Pelosi. In it she uses an r-word that induces chills: "resolve."

She writes: "the world is watching our resolve for winning this fight on behalf of America's families. She adds: "we must act on behalf of the American people." She concludes: "At long last, history is within our reach."
The subject line: "Momentum."

Let there be no doubt. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and their ilk could give a rat's ass about what Americans want, they only want to radically transform America into a nanny state.
