Topics: Political News and commentariesThat's the immediate additional amount in federal assistance that Fannie Mae is asking for, bringing its total to more than $75 billion. And worse, the mortgage finance company warned its losses will continue this year.
And as though we need reminding, Dustin Siggins points out that these are the people who already ran our economy into the ground.
Voters need to demand not one more dime for Fannie and Freddie. Then take a hint from Howard Beale and the movie "Network. Get mad. Tell Congress and Obama: "G-damn it, I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore."
I love this movie. Imagine the effect if people all over America did essentially the same thing as Howard Beale's audience.
Oops, forgot. They already are - it's called the Tea Party Movement.
