How is such incompetence possible?
Topics: Political News and commentaries, Terrorism, War on TerrorHow is it possible that the DNI and FBI chiefs weren't sure who should interrogate Flight 253 bomber and why in the hell did the FBI agents decide last month to question the Christmas Day airline bombing suspect as a criminal and not interrogate him as a terrorist?
As Allahpundit notes:
Should the FBI have questioned him or the CIA? Should he have been treated as a criminal or an enemy combatant? Should he get a civilian trial or a military tribunal?Why am I not surprised! What else should we expect under an administration that calls acts of Islamic terrorism - manmade disasters, and can't find its way to put the words Islamic and terrorism in the same sentence!Don't worry. Someone somewhere in the chain of command will figure it out.
