Rasmussen Approval Index: Obama Tanks To -19
Topics: Political News and commentariesJust how far down can our radically far-left socialist president go? Who knows at this point, but yesterday it was at -16, and today Rasmussen's passion index has Obama at -19.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19.And according to Rasmussen's poll of total approval, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove.Today is the second straight day that Obama's Approval Index rating has fallen to a new low. Prior to the past two days, the Approval Index had never fallen below -15 during Obama's time in office (see trends).
Worthy of note is that Obama's approval numbers have been in a steady decline since he started expanding government, attacking Americans' liberties and freedoms, destroying America's free market system, and attempting to radically destroy America's health care system. It seems that the further left he takes the country and the more he runs his mouth, the further down his approval ratings drop. Clearly, the American people want none of what he's trying to sell them and what he's doing to their country.
Overall, I find myself in complete agreement with Nat Hertoff, who says that "Obama is possibly the most dangerous and destructive president we have ever had." Clearly, more and more Americans agree with Hertoff's statement.
