Obama Coming Home Empty Handed (Updated)
Topics: Climate Change, Global Warming, Political News and commentariesAlthough his administration tries to spin the deal as a "meaningful agreement", in reality Dear Leader is coming home empty handed - with nothing more than toothless, weak, targets and goals defined in meaningless political double-speak.
As Jerry McConnell frames it, after multi-millions of dollars in expenses for the 193 nations to attend the biggest farcical circus ever held in the history of mankind - nothing was really accomplished, unless you call three nations agreeing to curb greenhouse gas emissions - out of one hundred and ninety three, a "meaningful agreement."
And to top it all off, like adding icing to a climate sceptics' cake, a Washington snowstorm forced Speaker Nancy Pelosi to make an early departure from Copenhagen, which was hit by record cold and snow during the "global warming" summit.
