He is a black conservative who is running for the United States Senate. The Tea Party folks love him. He has his sights set on taking the place of current Republican Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison who is expected to resign her Senate seat in her quest to become Governor of Texas.After watch the videos and hearing what he has to say, one can't help but agree with David Brody (at the link) - the guy has star power written all over him.
And while we're on the topic of Black Conservatives, let's not forget Lt. Col Allen West running for US Congress in Florida's District 22.
Unquestionably, we'll be seeing and hearing a lot more from both of these gentlemen in 2010.
