Somehow, somewhere along the way we must have fallen through some trap door into an alternate Evil-Spock-With-A-Beard universe because there is no way that any rational human being can possibly, really believe what our politicians and their shuffling, head bobbing Igor media are telling us. Not only that, for the life of me I can't begin to imagine that they believe it themselves, but they seem quite sincere.
