Obama too busy to attend Brandenburg Gate ceremonies
Topics: Political News and commentariesAs American Princess points out, our President will not be joining the heads of state and celebrity freedom-fighters at the Brandenburg Gate. He's like, busy or something:
[...] Instead, when it comes to celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the triumph of freedom and western civilization over the backwards, oppressive Communist regime, the nation that serves as a beacon of freedom to the world and the inspiration for the people challenging the USSR will be represented by David Hasselhoff.A case of misplaced priorities (no time for a decision on Afghanistan either)? He sure found time to fly to Copenhagen on an "emergency trip" to pitch Chicago's Olympic bid.
As Pamella Geller notes: "He went to a meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Alliance of Civilizations (instead the graves of the glorious dead onthe anniversary of Normandy), toured Turkey's mosques, bowed to the wahhabi Saudi king, coasted to Copenhagen to whore for his cronies in Chicago (Olympics) but he can't go to Germany for this stunning historical triumph of free men."
Yep, he's just too busy, or something.
