What does French President Sarkozy see in Obama that liberals fail to see?
Topics: Political News and commentariesSarkozy sees Obama as "incredibly naive" and grossly "egotistical" - so much so that "no one can "dent his naivite, and is very worried about what this means for the West since the American president is the leader of the free world (H/t - Arkady at Right Condition).
As Arcady notes at the link, how is that leaders of powerful countries like France recognize the obvious and be concerned enough to voice their opinions, but liberals continue to blindly worship Obama?
And Sarcozy's remarks, taken in the context of the rumors floated by Bill Krystol that Obama will not accept General McChrystal's recommendation in Afghanistan and that Secretary Gates will be out by the end of the year and replaced by Chuck Hagel, who Kristol described as an "advocate of retreat everywhere," suddenly become all the more concerning for America and all of the West.
