MSNBC Makes Correction During Broadcast After Getting Email From White House
Topics:Incredibly, while in the middle of a a live broadcast the White House emails MSNBC to "correct" them on their coverage of the administration's attacks on FOX News. - correcting them on what is being said about Jake Tapper interaction with WH Press Secretary Gibbs:
"The White House did just e-mail saying that interaction with Jake Tapper was not heated."In other words, Obama's WH is definitely not at fault, we are, so please Mr. President, we are your lap dog, so don't come down on us like you are doing with Fox."And I would say that they (the WH) are making comments about Fox News in a very calm, understated manner, and we're the ones freaking out about it.
Worthy of mention is the fact that the White House hasn't called or emailed the Glenn Beck hotline guy sporting the Mao outfit (H/t - Gateway Pundit). After all, if the White House can send e-mails to a live broadcast on MSNBC, that means they can call Glenn Beck on the Mao phone if there is anything to correct.
Meanwhile, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow were among several people who were invited to an off-the-record briefing (Video) with Pres. Obama at the White House. Other attendees at the two-and-a-half hour chat included Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post, Maureen Dowd of the New York Times, Gwen Ifill of PBS and Gloria Borger of CNN. Perhaps not surprisingly, no one from Fox News was in the room.
