Jim DeMint challenges Obama to line-by-line review of ObamaCare

Topics: Political News and commentaries

It's what should have been voluntarily undertaken by the White House, from day 1.

After first talking about Sarah Palin's op-ed in the WSJ, Senator Dement goes after Barack Obama and his speech tomorrow night, and essentially echoed what most Americans are thinking without jumbling in a bunch of political double-speak. The time has come to get down to specifics, which DeMint believes Obama cannot defend and perhaps doesn't even know, ditch the generalities and ambiguities, and go through the plan line-by-line. Here's a quote:

"But I want to hear him defend his bill. I want him to open up the house bill that was passed and actually point to sections...and say it is in there, read it... I don't want to hear any generalities, I don't want to hear any more false promises... He needs to defend his plan and not just criticize those of us who are presenting alternatives."
Now this is something all Americans should be able to agree on!
