EVERY Democrat On Senate Finance Committee Votes Against Measure Allowing Americans To Keep Their Current Health Care
Topics: Political News and commentaries"If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan." - Barack Obama on Tuesday, August 11th, 2009 in a town hall meeting.In a vote that should send chills up the spine of those satisfied with their current health insurance, Democrats in the Senate Finance Committee today rejected a Republican amendment that would allow Americans to keep their current health care coverage. The amendment was rejected 10-13, with all Republican Senators voting in favor and all Democrats voting against.
