Who Funds the Radical Left In America?

Steve Baldwin's article on The Tides Foundation and The Tides Center just may be the most important article you'll read this year. As Baldwin explains in his article, over the course of its 33 year history, the Tides network has given hundreds of millions of dollars to anti-free enterprise groups, gun control groups, anti-private property groups, abortion rights groups, homosexual groups, groups engaged in voter fraud, anti-military groups, and organizations that seek to destroy America's constitutional basis. All told, over 100 leftist organizations have received funding from one of the two Tides groups.

[...] Very few Americans realize there exists a large network of far left philanthropists and foundations in America dedicated to destroying the American way of life, our Christian-based culture and our free enterprise system. They seek to remove America from its constitutional foundations and move it toward a European-style socialism. Much of this effort is coordinated by a little known group called the Tides Foundation and its related group, the Tides Center.

[...] Not surprisingly, this network of anti-American groups played a key role in electing Barack Obama by using classic propaganda techniques in making false allegations about Bush (he lied regarding WMDs, he stole the election in Florida, he knew in advance about 9/11, etc, etc.) and created the impression that Bush and by extension, the GOP, was corrupt. Obama, of course, was portrayed as the reformer who would save America from this corruption.

Millions of Americans fell for this mythology and so without being openly partisan, this vast network of far left groups, along with its media allies, was able to manipulate American public opinion during the last election cycle. Meanwhile, anyone who tried to reveal Obama's real agenda, his role in the corrupt Chicago political machine, his socialist political associations, or his soft spot for Middle Eastern terrorists was labeled a kook by this same network.

It's important that Americans learn about these organizations, the people and groups that fund them, and the anti-American agenda they strive to implement. Readers should take the time to read "Who Funds the Radical Left In America?" and forward it to everyone on their email list.

In a related item, a August 10 blogpost at Liberty Journal addressed Glenn Beck's coverage of The Tides Foundation in which Beck addressed how the communist linked, Tides Foundation funded, Apollo Alliance helped write Obama's stimulus:

Obama's "Green Jobs" czar and avowed communist Van Jones is a board member of Apollo, which also has ties to ACORN, SEIU, and Center for American Progress president John Podesta.

Also on the board of Apollo is Wade Rathke, ACORN founder and until this year, on the board of the Tides Foundation and the Tides Center, which are the parent organizations of the Apollo Alliance.

The Liberty Journal adds:

It should be clear the far left in this country have a well devised plan, as well as a strategy to achieve their goals. Building off the disaster of TARP, which was devised and supported by the neocons, this administration has pushed through the scamulus, they are now pressing to nationalize our health care system and will soon attempt to implement the largest tax increase in history with the "Cap and Trade" energy tax bill.

So, in other words, America, if we are to preserve our constitutional freedoms, our free market economy, capitalism, and our way of life, we indeed have our work cut out for us. Become informed, help others learn of what we're up against, continuaously let your feelings be known by your senators and representatives, and get involved in the voting process.
