Bad Move: Picking a fight with seniors

Topics: Political News and commentaries

AJStrata on the latest in a series of historically bad liberal blunders, which have reminded Americans why they dumped the Democrats during the Clinton escapades, namely, Obamacare:

"When the liberals decided they would insert themselves into the hard, but loving decisions all seniors and their families face they tried to pry into a very private place in America. It was a arrogant and dumb move. People are fed up with the preachy DC elites telling them how to live their lives. And they sure as hell don't want DC telling us how to end our lives (good intentions or not)."
The Belmont Club notes that The Political Ticker describes one Blue Dog Democrat admitting to an angry crowd that the President's health care proposal may have been a mistake; that it might be better to start over; that perhaps a kind of incremental approach fixing what was broken instead of trying to redo the whole system was a wiser way to go.

"That the President's health care proposal may have been a mistake" indeed, but one that doesn't fit in with Obama's agenda to "radically transform America" into his vision of what he believes it should be - essentially a Stalinist State.
