White firefighters win at SCOTUS, Sotomayor losses
Topics: Political News and commentariesCommon sense has prevailed, and Sonya Sotomayor's ruling in the Ricci case has been reversed:
By a slim 5-4 margin, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the white New Haven firefighters whose promotions were denied because not enough non-whites passed the promotion exam. Among those ruling the other way on the lower court was a certain wise Latina.It appears that the "wise Latina woman" has essentially been ruled not "wise" enough to get past her "empathy" (double-speak for judicial activism) and racism, and judge according to the Constitution - as SCOTUS has done. Of course this will have no impact on the votes for Sotomayor by the imbeciles that sit in the House and Senate who are more interested in political points in the Hispanic community than the Constitution being followed by our judges at SCOTUS..
