Obama's top military adviser: "Iran's objective is to obtain nuclear weapons"

Topics: Iran, Political News and commentaries

Adm. Mike Mullen, Barack Obama's top military adviser, says Iran's objective is to obtain nuclear weapons, and there's a narrow window in which to work to block Iran from achieving nuclear capabilities.

And what does Obama want to do about it in the meantime? He appears to have given up on halting Iran's nuclear bomb development; his "talk and more talk" approach ignores the urgent threat of the regime's weapons programm and is giving Iran the time it needs to build a nuclear bomb.

Meanwhile, the liberal, far-left, mainstream media is suffering from delusions over Iran's intentions, as evidenced by NewsBusters' piece on Newsweek's Editor saying "Iran Wants Nukes...But Only for Civilian Uses."

I'm not sure what's scarier: the fact that Newsweek International editor Fareed Zakaria wants us to believe that Iran seeks nuclear power only for peaceful purposes or that President Obama might be seriously buying into this guy's delusions by reading his book, The Post-American World. Zakaria wants us to put away our fears of a nuclear Iran by making the case in his Newsweek article that that nation has no interest in weaponizing nukes: (More - the deluded editor's comments are outright laughable)

Contrary to the media's delusions, Americans are more in tune with the realities of Iran's intentions and what we should do about it. Atlas Shrugs suggests we check out the latest NY Post poll.

The results are very telling. Unlike the jihad sympathizing Prez and a corrupt media aligned with the terror force, Americans think the U.S. should forcefully intervene -- and look at the poll before the leftist/Islamic leaders over at Media Matters and moveon.org issue orders to their stormboots on the ground to skew the poll.
