Topics: Political News and commentaries(Via Email) MRC is concerned about government censorship of the radio airwaves via a return of the Censorship Doctrine, also mis-known as the "Fairness" Doctrine - "issue mongering" "conspiracy theorists." Howver, as they point out on their website, the so-called "Fairness" Doctrine isn't a conspiracy theory. It's a way for Obama's FCC to silence our Free Speech Rights.
Last week after acting Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Michael Copps called every citizen concerned about the anti-First Amendment Censorship Doctrine, also mis-known as the "Fairness" Doctrine, "issue mongering" "conspiracy theorists," MRC's Founder Brent Bozell issued a public challenge:Do take the time to send a fax (info at link) - our free speech rights are at risk.Brent called on Copps to move House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to allow the Broadcaster Freedom Act a full, fair stand-alone floor vote to forever end the FCC's ability to reimpose the so-called "Fairness" Doctrine.
Brent called Copps' bluff - And now he needs your help to protect our Free Speech Rights!
