White House continues to lie about Obama's bow to Saudi king (Updted)

As Michael Goldfarb summed up the problem for Obama, "So who you going to believe -- Barack Obama or your lying eyes (video)?

I suggest you trust your "lying eyes" because it's crystal clear that the White House is lying.

As for why the White House would lie about the bow to the Saudi king, instead of simply admitting that the President made a gaffe, Thomas Lifson writes at The American Thinker that for one thing, history teaches us that bows between official representatives of nations are a "rather serious matter," especially in this age of a Clash of Civilizations ( in Samual Huntington's words) that we live in:

[...] We live in an age of a Clash of Civilizations (in Samuel Huntington's words), with many in the Islamic world convinced that Western Civilization, ascendant for the last few centuries, is about to be humbled by Islam, the once and future dominant force in the world. No Caliph exists today as head of the entire Islamic world, but the number two slot is amply occupied by King Abdullah, as guardian of Mecca and Medina, Islam's two holiest cities.

[...] President Obama voluntarily bent his knee and bowed his head before the most important ruler in the Islamic world. Let us hope that it does not require a war to right this insult to American sovereignty.

Via Right Wing News we have a couple of interesting take (emphasis mine) from the Arab media:

The Washington Times called it a "shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate." A Saudi-backed Arabic paper considered it a show of "respect and appreciation of the personality of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz," and possibly evidence that BHO is still a Muslim. But an Obama lackey -- speaking in anonymity in keeping with the administration's policy of "transparency" -- impudently claims that the Moonbat Messiah didn't bow at all:

It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah.

If we could believe Obama is qualified to be president, why couldn't we believe the video below is a mass hallucination?
