Obama gives unions cover for corruption
Topics:In yet another flip-flop and a further sign of payback to unions for their support in his election, Barack Obama has turned back rules put in place by the Bush administration to force unions to be more transparent in their financial reporting. As Warner Todd Huston notes at RedState, these rules were meant to stop union fraud, theft, and embezzlement but in an effort to pay back his supporters, Obama has turned these rules back so that unions can find it easier to hide illicit financial transactions.
