Islam 'insulted' by alleged child killer's mug shot?

Having your mug shot taken without a headscarf is insulting to Islam?
Go figure; is there anything that Muslims don't believe insults Islam? And why should Muslims expect to be treated differently than a non-Muslim citizen?
