Did Obama administration attempt to politicize the US Attorney's office in Missouri for political payback?
Topics: Political News and commentariesAccording to KSDK News, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch (D) was asked to be the new US Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, replacing Catherine Hanaway (R) at the post. According to KSDK News sources, McCulloch turned down the post to stay prosecuting attorney for the county. Of interest is the fact that McCulloch was involvied in the "truth squad" for Obama that targeted anyone who (according to them) lied or ran a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign. So if this isn't an example of an attempt to politicize the AG office in Missouri, I don't know what is.
