Begala's 'Pitch'

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Jonah Goldberg somehow ended up on Paul Begala's mailing list and the email he just received makes for interesting reading. Besides attacking "all those Rush Limbaugh-loving Republicans" he makes a pitch for "raising $1 million in grassroots support to show the world how strongly Democrats across America support President Obama and his agenda for change."

From the looks of Begala's email and the polls, that "agenda for change" Begala speaks of is beginning to lose its "grassroot" support. Meanwhile, Obama is, as always, back in campaign mode.
