Merry Christmas

Given that the hour is late and that I've just returned home from midnight mass, I'll not be doing any posting tonight, rather, I'll point readers to what I consider one of the more important blog posts on Christmas that I've read so far. The post I speak of relates to the Byzantine icon below (borrowed from Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch) and is the work of the 16th-century iconographer Theophanes the Cretan. :
