Update: As one of the folks over at the Hillary Forum points out, a Gallop poll taken back in March showed that this election were McCain vs. Obama, 28% of Clinton Backers would Go for McCain. The same poster also makes another good point:
I seriously doubt that McCain has lost all of the that support, even though I am sure Obama has managed to get some of Hillary's holdout's to come over to him. A larger question is how many of Obama's supporters have become disaffected and changed to McCain and do these not offset?While I'd prefer Palin in 2012 rather than Hillary, if my choice was between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton the decision would be a no-brainer - Go Hillary!
A strategy of the PUMA's was to skew the polls, so how many PUMA's gleefully misled any pollsters that called?
Also, I read somewhere that the "undecideds" in this election equate to around 18 million voters!!
