Video: 'How Obama was elected' (or, how the media won the election for Obama)

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Here's the video everyone's linking to today, showing how miserably-uninfomed typical Obama voters were when the went into the voting booth. As John Ziegler at How Obama Got Elected notes, millions of Americans were shocked on November 4th, 2008 when a man of Barack Obama's limited experience, extreme liberal positions and radical political alliances was elected President of the United States. However, for many of these Americans, the explanation was rather simple... the news media, completely enamored with Barack Hussein Obama, simply refused to do their job. And put in the context of a disturbing report from Zogby, it emphasizes the ignorance of the typical Obama voters and just how badly certain media fell down on their job in their refusal to vet a man not that is truly not worthy or qualified for the presidency of a home owner's association, much much less that of the greatest nation on the planet.

Be sure to wait for the end, where the terribly misinformed, uninformed, and misled Obamanauts endorse their favorite media outlets - the true focus of the project.

From a Zogby poll commissioned by Ziegler, we see almost exactly how the media influenced the election for Obama; the very same questions, along with a few others, showed amazing results. The poll surveyed over 500 self-professed Obama voters and has an MOE of 4.4%, with 55% having a college degree and over 90% having a high-school diploma. Twelve multiple-choice questions were asked, and only 2.4% got at least 11 correct. Only .5% got all them correct.

Zogby Poll

97.1% High School Graduate or higher, 55% College Graduates

Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)

81.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).

And yet.....

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes

Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)
The take home message here is clear. Barack Hussein Obama, the least qualified human being on the planet to be elected president of the United States of America, was elected by misled, misinformed, and just down right stupid voters, because he was Black and because the media wanted him elected so much that they were willing to all but completely ignore and/or fail to properly vet and report the litany of reasons he should have been rejected as a candidate for the mayor of a very small American town - or even the homeowner's association of an American condo, much less president of the United States.

Good job, America. With voters like you guys, what the hell do we need elections for, we should just take a poll to select the most anti-military, anti-American values, pro-America's enemies, pro-Marxist, anti-capitalist, radical empty suit that can follow a teleprompter, and make him president. As long as he's black and makes vague promises with no substance, the typical American voter is so stupid and willing to be led by emotions, it just doesn't matter. Think of all the money we can save to spend on our families or at the race track (no pun intended - well, maybe ....) instead of donating to political parties.
