Obama Requires Community Service and Removes his Agenda from Website After Scrutiny.
Topics: Political News and commentaries

Caught, and if doesn't sound both Orwellian and right out of the Alinsky-Ayers playbooks, you've been consuming way too much Kool-Aid:
There has been many arguments this past week over whether the president elect, Obama, will require students to do community service. Some are saying this is slave labor, some say because college discounts will be given it is worth it, some are saying it is for the better of the Country. If you missed it, Obama has created change.gov, "The Official Web Site of the U.S. Presidential Transition." On this website Obama lays out his agenda for what he is going to change in this country. Now since the conversation began about what the agenda section of the site actually contained, it looks like it has been removed due to scrutiny. It appears as if it was taken down to be reworded. Now all we have left is the text below:
"Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free."
Luckily, with the creation of the Internet, history cannot be changed so easily. This is the first quote on the site, which appears to have been removed as of last night:
"Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year."
Marxism, slavery, or just a little bit of both? Either way, big brother (no pun intended) is coming into power and he and the leftards have big plans for you and your children.
Big brother's agenda? You need look no further than Alinsky and Ayer's to understand where this scary program is coming from and where it's leading. However, the most direct tie is Ayer's and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (also see Bill Ayers's Scary Plans for Public Schools) and primarily - radical Marxism. And to those who might feel that calling Obama's Obama's "youth corps" - "radical Marxism" - is a bit overly critical or alarmist, what else would you call what should be described as "herding American youth into government-funded reeducation camps where they'll be brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need of "social change,"" given Obama's history and declared agendas? ?
As Gateway Pundit notes, At one time in our history church groups would volunteer to assist their community. Now, we have the Church of Obama.
By the way, as though we really didn't need another example of the surety of Obama's Marxist agenda, Powerline links to Pravda enthusiastic reaction of Russian politicians toward the election of Barack Obama. If a GOP president-elect were engaging in this kind of scrubbing can you imagine the coverage he'd be getting from the MSM?. Related:

Wish I had the option of doing 25 4 hour days of volunteering to pay up to 4,000 of school.
That would have nearly covered 1 semester a year for my in-state education.
Do you happen to know if this is for college aged students only? With the horrible job environment, I could surely use the 4Gs to pay for some Master's classes or supplemental training. Maybe improve my chances to get a new job.

Working for your money is more palatable than what was originally stated. I hope there's a variety of community services for the students such as assisting the military, law enforcement, elderly, handicapped, hospitals etc. and not just "urban" programs or "ACORN-like" activities.
