I Hate To bring This Up, But...

Topics: Political News and commentaries

We conservatives who love America, are flabbergasted (many in astounded disbelief at how it could have ever come to this) at the radical path that our nation has taken, and all that has come to pass, since back in 2005 a girl from Arkansas, Natalee Holloway, disappeared while celebrating her Graduation with her classmates in Aruba.

As we all know and remember, the media immediately made a "circus" of the tragic incident, and covered, in an increasingly ludicrous manner, all that was even remotely linked to the young woman's ill-fated disappearance unceasingly, 24/7, for over a year.

In the meantime, other more sinister developments and catastrophes, around the world and at home - such as the terrorist bombings in London, floods in India that killed thousands, the earthquake in the Karakorum Mountains of Pakistan that killed countless thousands people, and left over half-a-million homeless in the face of a harsh, impending winter, the Tsunami that caused so many untold deaths and devastation throughout the coasts of Southeast Asia, killer floods in the Northeast, and Hurrican Katrina - were taking place, while a stupefied American public indulgently ruminated in mesmerized stupor before their television screens and or following on their computer monitors, the media-created "Circus Melodrama" that was taking place in Aruba due to Natalee Holloway's disappearance.

Now, I hate to bring this up, particularly during these distressing moments in our nation's history, and in these "Dark Times" looming over us, but back over three years ago, when the same "Boot Licking" media following Obama fawningly, and groveling at his feet in subservient adulation now, were then following Beth Holloway in a similar, though less impassioned manner, up and down Aruba, and making a big "Media Circus" and a "Soap-Opera Melodrama" out of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway - an unfortunate and saddening occurrence, yet the result of faulty parental judgement and supervision, of youthful lack of prudence, of too much licentiousness, too much alcohol - possibly drugs, along with too many gonads (all of which could have been avoided with a bit of common sense), and a bit of bad luck (which cannot be avoided) - I warned conservative fellow bloggers how, even as the London terrorist bombings were going on, and those tsunamis, earthquakes, and other calamities were befalling the world, that we sat stupefied chewing the cud, before our TV sets and computer monitors, following the " Perils of Beth" on the media-made "Reality TV Melodrama" unfolding in Aruba, while we ignored the much more pressing dangers looming over our nation and the world, and had become disengaged from discussing and addressing more pressing and imminent issues.

For crying out thus - "like the voice of one crying in the wilderness..." (if you would allow me a bit of a Hestonian touch), I was reviled as inhuman, and uncaring of Natalee Holloway, was despised , banned from many a blog for my appeals to common sense, and ostracized. At the time I pointed out to my detractors, that those who devoted so much excessive time and attention following the Natalee Holloway fiasco (again, a media creation as such) were doing so at the expense of neglecting other far more ominous and pressing issues and developments that could inexorably affect the future of America in these pivotal times.

I often pointed to those following assiduously the going-ons in the Natalee Holloway case, out of humane concern for the lost girl - the presumed victim of foul play, and or out of empathy and humaneness for the distressed mother, Beth, that most of those devoting so much inordinate time to what went on in Aruba, were conservatives, whose ethic, religious, moral, and civic values prompted them to care about the girl, the mother, the situation, and to get involved; while in the case of most secularist, leftist, liberals, they had no such "moral" compunctions, for the most part could give a "rat's ass" about just another missing girl (individuals as such are not important in the Marxist societal scheme of things, only the "masses"), and kept working assiduously towards their insidious political ends of bringing about this very same electoral Obama Marxist Coup D'Etat that has befallen us, and on taking over the Congress, as they shortly did, while we followed Beth hopping around the island with the media at her heels, and the increasingly sordid developments in Aruba. I hate to say "I told you so," but, most unfortunately events have proven me right, and it be nice if some of those fellow conservatives who then condemned me, would come out and admit that I was right!

We should have been watching and discussing what was going on politically in the country instead of having expended so much time and energy on Natalee Holloway and the Aruba "Media Circus" and perhaps the end results of our elections would have been different, and maybe the defeatist, socialist, demagogue, hate-America Democrats would not have taken over our Congress....and a Marxist Obama would not soon sit in the Oval Office!

In retrospect, more attention clearly needed to be put on what at the time was an "on the march," Marxist's campaign for the presidency, but no one new much of it at the time and no one could have predicted at the time just how unwilling the media would be to expose Obama and the leftist Democrats in Congress who wrecked our financial system with the "forced on banks" socialism for minorities.

Richard, as I clearly indicated so many times in my "verbose and lengthy posts" back then about the Natalee Holloway fiasco - since because as a child I had already had the misfortune of having experinced in Cuba what will soon be now a "shocking surprise and bitter lesson" to many here in America, who ironically may have voted for Obama, and, I guess, as a result I must have developed some sort of sixth sense about such things - even back then I had a foreboding feeling that our complacency, and the inordinate amount of time and attention so many conservative bloggers were devoting to following the Natalee Holloway affair - while neglecting other far more ominous and pressing matters and issues facing us at the time, would have dire consequences.

Again, I hate to say: "see, I was right," but I did warn time and again back then in my posts, that we needed to have stopped following so much of the "Media Circus" in Aruba, and to have paid more attention to the War on Terror, the War in Iraq, the Patriot Act and the Democrats trying to defeat it back then (I'm sure they'll just effortlessly reapeal it now), the treason at The NYT - revealing classified information that could have further endangered our troops at the time, and the insidious way the leftist Democrats were slowly but inexorably crawling (like the vermin they are) their way to snatching back the House and Senate, with their campaings of "voter movilization," outright voter fraud, and all their leftist propaganda and misinformation - even as they did in 2006!

Back then, as I had so often advocated, is when we should have stooped the "Demoncrats" and kept them at bay!

Now, Natalee is unfortunately still missing and all but forgotten, her mom Beth had no other choice but to go on with her life, the groveling "Media Circus" will now follow the "chimps" and the "pigs in lipstick" in the White House - instead, and we as a nation are the ones stuck with a Filibuster-proof, commie, defeatist, Islamofacist-loving, Democratic Congress, and a Marxist Obama in the Oval Office...and the irreparable damage they will do in the next four years, and the heinous scar they will imprint on America forever, are incalculable
...that is, if we can shirk them off our backs in four or eight years...Castro and his cadre are still in power after fifty years of "Welfare State" socialist tyranny...

SNIP: Back then, as I had so often advocated, is when we should have stooped the "Demoncrats" and kept them at bay!

So how do we stop them now?
There are so many fires that need to be put out, where do you start?
I've almost quit watching the news on TV. I don't trust any of the stations, including FOX News. I get most of my info from talk radio and the web.

The election was a disaster. With only two years to rebuild to have even a shot at taking back one or both of the houses we are at the mercy of the RNC and the candidates they decide to back. And they're the ones who pushed McCain on us. I have little to no faith in them.

So what do we do? Where do we start?
