Wolf Blitzer and the 'Situation Room' on the Obama channel

Topics: Political News and commentaries

I just finished watching a segment of "The Situation Room" in which Wolf Blitzer did an "interview" with former Clinton Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin while Blitzer fed Rubin raw steak after raw steak for Rubin to come back with one plug after another for Obama. It was essentially a free ad for Obama and his economic proposals disguised as a news interview.

Question: Am I the only one that has spent quite a bit of time following CNN - and especially Wolf Blitzer - in order to fairly evaluate the network for its political balance only to find that it can only be accurately described as the free-to-Obama "Obama Channel," (assuming the Obama campaign has to pay for Channel 73 on the Dish Network) in all respects including tone, nuance, substance, and just plain ole in your face "vote for Obama"?

Related: In looking around Google to see what some other bloggers thought about CNN, I came across Nancy Goldfarb Thinks and her post, CNN Bias for OBAMA, which was written, as mine is here, after watching a show on CNN. She has several other posts of interest that relate to "The One" that are well worth the read.

I have been watching this whole ACORN fiasco roll out in the media over recent days and frankly I'm more than a little skeptical. I have to believe that the people running ACORN aren't stupid, so if they really wanted to commit voter registration fraud one would think that they would have been smart enough to...
a)Not use ball players names
b)Certainly not have one person fill out thousands of applications all in the same hand writing.
I also find the timing of these revelations extremely suspect so I can't help but think that this is a less than subtle attemp to discredit Barack Obama right before the election. It certainly smacks of the kind of desperation being exhibited by the RNC and the McCain campaign.

Your skepticism is an emotion. In contrast the universal voter fraud committed by ACORN are FACTS documented by the thousands of fraudulent registration cards turned in in EVERY state of the union.
Several of the State election officials charging ACORN are Democrats
Do not let your emotions obscure the facts
