The Way Sarah Sees It
Topics: Political News and commentaries
Governor Sarah Palin appeared outside Los Angeles in Carson, California
yesterday. Video of Governor Palin's speech is available in its entirety here (part 1) and here
(part 2). Here's an excerpt from part 1 in which she talks about "a
providential moment" that preceded her appearance in California
yesterday. She says that she found the Quote of the Day from Madeleine
Albright on her Starbucks drink: "There's a special place in hell for
women who don't support other women." Governor Palin astutely comments: "Now she said it,
I didn't." She then looks forward to seeing what the media will turn it
into today (HT - Powerline).
And as Governor Palin essentially predicted, the Huffington Host (source of the photo at the top of this post - via Powerline), Governor Palin's citation of the Albright quote is the subject of a brutal fact check that chides Governor Palin for getting the quote slightly wrong, replacing the word "help" with the synonym "support."
