O'Reilly Factor Reports on Obama-Khalidi Tape

Topics: Political News and commentaries
Bill O'Reilly's staff has been in contact with the LA Times that says it will not release the tape of Obama toasting radical Rashid Khalidi at a Jew-bash in Chicago. The O'Reilly Factor plans to report more on the LAT's protection of Obama tonight:

Clearly, the story is finally getting the attention it deserves: From Andrew C. McCarthy: The L.A. Times Suppresses Obama's Khalidi Bash Tape:
Why is the Los Angeles Times sitting on a videotape of the 2003 farewell bash in Chicago at which Barack Obama lavished praise on the guest of honor, Rashid Khalidi, former mouthpiece for master terrorist Yasser Arafat?

At the time Khalidi, a PLO adviser turned University of Chicago professor, was headed east to Columbia. There he would take over the University's Middle East-studies program (which he has since maintained as a bubbling cauldron of anti-Semitism) and assume the professorship endowed in honor of Edward Sayyid, another notorious terror apologist.

The party featured encomiums by many of Khalidi's allies, colleagues, and friends, including Barack Obama, then an Illinois state senator, and Bill Ayers, the terrorist turned education professor. It was sponsored by the Arab American Action Network (AAAN), which had been founded by Khalidi and his wife, Mona, formerly a top English translator for Arafat's press agency.

Is there just a teeny-weenie chance that this was an evening of Israel-bashing Obama would find very difficult to explain? Could it be that the Times, a pillar of the Obamedia, is covering for its guy?
Here's the L.A. Times piece on the Khalidi party attended by Obama: Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Barack Obama:
CHICAGO -- It was a celebration of Palestinian culture -- a night of music, dancing and a dash of politics. Local Arab Americans were bidding farewell to Rashid Khalidi, an internationally known scholar, critic of Israel and advocate for Palestinian rights, who was leaving town for a job in New York.

A special tribute came from Khalidi's friend and frequent dinner companion, the young state Sen. Barack Obama. Speaking to the crowd, Obama reminisced about meals prepared by Khalidi's wife, Mona, and conversations that had challenged his thinking.
From Hannity's America: Obama has "deep ties" to former Terrorist Rashid Khalidi:
Reporters expose Obama is not only friends with Khalidi, but has financial ties to him. It seems more and more like Obama is a Manchurian Candidate, and now he is planning a trip to the Middle East this summer, ostensibly for experience. Maybe he'll meet up with Auchi - another terrorist friend and contributor to Obama.

From Campus Watch by Aaron Klein of WorldNetDaily: Obama Worked with Terrorist [ref. Rashid Khalidi]

As Dan Riehl notes at "LA Times: In The Tank For Obama," the LAT doesn't want to risk damaging their boy, and adds, "This is about as biased as it gets, folks. Welcome to Amerika, where once we had a free press."

Dan's absolutely correct; 2008 will go down in the history books as the year both America's free press and the profession of journalism died. Our media is now no more truthful than Pravda and our journalists have already joined Obama's communist thugacracy.

Hopefully, much more to come.

Obama is not a terrorist. Period. All this stuff is so old and stale and makes no difference to me.

I'm an Independent from Nevada who already early voted for Obama and I'm glad that I did.

This is old news, guys.
