Ohio Schools Take a Page from Stalin's Playbook

One might also say this is much like an Obama playbook ploy.

Which reminds me, I had lunch with a much outspoken friend today who is visiting from Canada, and he had a lot to say about America under an Obama presidency being a giant step in socialism (even beyond where the Bush years have taken us) and that if we needed a picture of what the nation would like like under Obama we need only look to the disastrous health care, education, and business policies of the Canadian government which he said, even under a "conservative" government, is "way to the left of Ralph Nader." Leaping to the point, however, he described Obama's "wealth redistribution" plan, in terms of a hard-working college student who stays up nights studying to make straight A's, and the school administration taking points away from straight A students to give them to C and D students that didn't study, didn't perform, and did little more than party away - so that all students made B's. Under Obama's plan, hard working business men and hard working employees who struggled to perform and get ahead would end up making little to no more than those who sat back and lived off the government or worked less and did not perform because they had no incentive to do so.

And by the way, my friend's name just happens to be "Joe," for real.

Get the point?
