New McCain ad: 'Ladies and Gentlemen'

Topics: Political News and commentaries
Although it's not unusual for political campaigns to use third-party endorsements in advertising to impress voters, this just might be the first election in which a presidential candidate got an inadvertent endorsement from the opposing running mate, but that was before Joe Biden made it onto a national ticket until 2008, and as Ed Morrissey notes, "we're beginning to understand why" and there's little wonder why Team McCain uses Biden's "endorsement" in their latest ad:

ANNCR: Listen to Joe Biden. Talking about what electing Barack Obama will mean.

JOE BIDEN: Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama.

The world is looking. We're going to have an international crisis ... to test the mettle of this guy.

I guarantee you it's gonna happen.

ANNCR: It doesn't have to happen. Vote McCain.

The up side of the McCain health tax break is that with the federal government contributing to your healthcare, legislators then can get laws passed to 'even up' the healthcare 'playing field' as they, the government becomes indirect contributors and have a stake in the wealfare of the people. This is the democratic / Republic way of getting things changed for the better. Being able to shop acrosss state lines enjoins all the state required benifits from the judicial perspective. see Scully vs. the Commissioner.. the arms length rulling that would alow the leveling of the playing field.
