USA TODAY/Gallup Poll: Convention lifts McCain over Obama by 10
Topics: Political News and commentariesA USA TODAY/Gallup Poll taken over the weekend shows that the Republican National Convention has given John McCain a significant boost, and having Sarah Palin as his running mate has helped close an "enthusiasm gap" that has dogged the GOP all year":
... McCain leads Democrat Barack Obama by 50%-46% among registered voters...Worthy of note is that John McCain has had a significant increase in his value at Intrade (and climbing), while Obama's value has significantly declined - McCain was 20 points behind Obama just a few days ago:... McCain leads Obama by 54%-44% among those seen as most likely to vote.
... McCain has narrowed Obama's wide advantage on handling the economy, by far the electorate's top issue. Before the GOP convention, Obama was favored by 19 points; now he's favored by 3.

Things are looking up for the McCain/Palin, not so good for Obama/Biden. Michelle O should hold off a bit on measuring the White House drapes.

Correction: That should read: "USA TODAY/Gallup Poll: Sarah Palin lifts McCain [in more ways than one - remember McCain's ear to ear grin, and mild case of 'Chronic Priapism,' every time he's around her] over Obama by 10"
Good! I am sure Michelle Obama - looking the way she does - can't give Obama the "stimulus" to respond in kind.
Sly-dog McCain. Who says an old dog can not teach us all new "tricks"? LOL!
Althor :P (Bad Althor, bad!)
