Today's Must Read On Sarah Palin And The McCain-Palin Ticket

Topics: Political News and commentaries
Mrs Palin not only slaughters her prey. She impales its head on a stick and parades it around for her followers to jeer at. For half an hour she eviscerated Mr Obama in that hall and did it all without dropping her sweet schoolmarm smile, as if she were handing out chocolates at the end of a history lesson.

There's a powerful danger in the sheer thrill that has followed her astonishing performance that we could get carried away with John McCain's running-mate. Some of the coverage has a hyperbolic tone to it. Not since Paris handed that apple to Aphrodite has a man's selection of a woman had such implications for the future of our civilization. - TimesOnLine

Sarah Palin's thrilling convention speech showed that the Governor of Alaska is a force to reckoned with. However, as TimesOnLine astutely points out, Sarah Palin might be more than that, and with the moose-hunting, establishment-taunting Sarah Palin at his side, John McCain might represent a much bigger change than the one that his opponents are offering: Sarah Palin: it's go west, towards the future of conservatism

Yes, I have not felt this energized since Reagan. THIS is the real change this election.

Palin/ Jindal 2016!

"Palin/ Jindal 2016!"
Now that's a damned good idea. Both are new blood into what's been a far-too-long, stuck-in-Washington-style politics, and both are reformers. Good choice there, Alex.

I'm sorry, but I must paraphrase the TimesOnLine statement. It is so rich...

If this is not one of the most overt indications that the media views Ms. Palin as a "threat" to the ascendancy to power of their "Chosen" the
"Obamamessiah", and conversely, that it proves (as if it wasn't blatant enough as it is)how much the media is indeed "in the tank for Obama" and shamelessly campaigns for him in their coverage, nothing else is!

My God, just read between the lines, quote:

"There's a powerful danger [that the"Obamamessiah"
may lose the election?] in the sheer thrill that has followed her [Palin's]astonishing performance that we could get carried away [and vote for Palin and McCain rather than for Obama?] with John McCain's running-mate. Some of the coverage has a hyperbolic tone to it. Not since Paris handed that apple to Aphrodite [she's "Hot" and people like her] has a man's selection of a woman [sly-dog McCain's "Hidden Alaskan Ace Up His Sleeve"] had such implications for the future of our civilization." - TimesOnLine

That last sentence is priceless: "...such implications for the future of our civilization." Wow!

Imagine that! In other words to TimesOnLine if Ms. Palin's popularity as McCain's running mate results in the "Obamamessiah's" defeat, it would be, what? Catastrophic? End of the world? The future of civilization as we know would be at stake?

If that is not a clear indication of how urgent it is to some in the media to see an Obama presidency veer violently to the left the political course of our country and impose a Marxist, secularist, agenda on our nation, nothing is!

TimesOnLine is basically tellin us: "Remember folks, if you don't vote for 'The One' fire and brimstone will fall from the sky, the seas will dry up, and Armageddon will be at hand!"

Now, we must all be good "lemmings" and go vote for the "Obamamessiah"...remember, the media tells you every day all "resistance is futile" so why don't we all be good "Borgs" and vote for the swarthy, arrogant, Marxist, SOB!

Amazing!

For a week, my wife has been bugging me to find out what kind of glasses Sarah Palin wears. I've sort of been laughing it off. Then, on my way to the store last night I heard on the news that optometrists across the country have been flooded with requests for glasses "just like Sarah Palen's." All these women are going after the Sarah Palen "look."

That's just a "down-home" example of how right-on the article is.
