The Debate: Obama lies and denies (Videos)

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Via "Our Country Deserves Better PAC," here's a few videos addressing a few of Barack Hussein Obama's debate distortions and mistruths, this being the kindest description I can come up with.

However, to the informed and not easily fooled voter, much of what Senator Obama said was disingenuous to say the least, and outright lies and omissions to be more accurate.

For example, he had the nerve to bring up the recent financial industry crisis and assign blame, but he didn't mention that the top 3 recipients of campaign donations from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were Democrats -- and that he was ranked #2. (Source: Barack Obama's Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Connection ).

And Senator Obama didn't mention that he was among those who supported the granting of sub-prime loans to individuals who could not afford to pay them back". Explosive Video, Fannie Mae CEO calling Obama and the Dems the "Family" and "Conscience" of Fannie Mae:

In another "omission," Senator Obama attempted to deny that he voted to cut off funding for our troops in the middle of their missions. Here a military mom sets the record straight on this: Obama: Not Faithful to Our Military:

And Obama had the "audacity" to say that his administration would be tough on Islamic terrorist groups such as Hamas. What he didn't tell you is that the Political Director for Hamas has endorsed Obama's campaign for president because he believes Obama will be soft on terrorism: Obama Endorsed by Ahmed Yousuf of Hamas - Obama's Wrong Values:

And finally, Senator Barack Hussein Obama is trying to run away from his support for higher taxes. Obama voted 94 times in the U.S. Senate either for higher taxes or against tax cuts. These two TV ads tell voters about Obama's support for increased taxes across the board:

Obama's Liberal Policies are WRONG!

Here's the McCain campaign's post debate letter. McCain is back in Washington doing the people's business and putting country first; God knows what Obama and his leftist crew are up to today:

My Friends,

Tonight, Senator Obama and I participated in the first debate of the general election. It was a spirited debate and I believe the difference between our visions for America were made very clear.

In a few hours, I will return to Washington to resume negotiations with the Administration and Congressional leaders from both parties to forge a bipartisan solution to our economic crisis. I am optimistic we will come to a final agreement soon. All voices must be represented in the final agreement, especially those of taxpayers and homeowners.

We cannot be interested in who would get credit for finding a solution and who would be blamed if an agreement cannot be reached. We must put our country first to solve this economic crisis. Because in the end, that's what leaders do in times of crisis.

Our next president and Congress will face challenging times that require selfless leadership. They must find solutions to issues like the economy, national security, and energy independence. I'm ready to work with Governor Palin and our Congressional allies to address the nation's most pressing challenges. Make no mistake, we are ready to lead and the Obama-Biden Democrats are not.

But, the truth is that we won't win without your support. We're less than 40 days away from Election Day and polls in races across the country are extremely close. In the final weeks of this campaign, we will need to fund crucial get-out-the-vote and grassroots activities that will assist our entire ticket, from the top to the bottom to secure victory on Election Day. I'm asking you to help us by making a contribution right now to McCain-Palin Victory 2008.

Your support is always deeply appreciated and I thank you for your generosity.

Sincerely,

John McCain
P.S. There are major differences between our shared priorities for our nation and those of the Obama-Biden Democrats. Tonight's debate made this point very clear. Our entire ticket will always put your needs above our own. And that's why it is so important for you to get involved today.

By the way, I did donate again; anything I can do to keep the most liberal, most socialist, and most Marxist-like anti-military/anti-free speech/anti-capitalist human being in America out of the Oval Office, is fine with me.

And in regard to the McCain camps take on the debate, McCain-Palin 2008 Communications Director Jill Hazelbaker issued the following statement:

"There was one man who was presidential tonight, that man was John McCain. There was another who was political, that was Barack Obama. John McCain won this debate and controlled the dialogue throughout, whether it was the economy, taxes, spending, Iraq or Iran. There was a leadership gap, a judgment gap, and a boldness gap on display tonight, a fact Barack Obama acknowledged when he said John McCain was right at least five times. Tonight's debate showed John McCain in command of the issues and presenting a clear agenda for America's future."
To which I wholeheartedly agree.
