Poll: Russians Like Putin And Obama (al-Qaeda hearts Obama too)

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Pollsters for state-run VTsIOM have found that if Russians were allowed to vote in U.S. polls, they would prefer Democrat Barack Obama to Republican John McCain. This is yet another indication that those who would wish harm on the United States and those that wish to work against the interests of America want Barack Obama elected.

Mark Steyn calls it Russia's dream ticket; if so, shouldn't America think of it as our nightmare ticket?

And as though the Russians wanting Obama to win the election isn't enough of a warning for us, al-Qaeda also hearts Obama (you remember them, right? They're the guys behind those radical Muslims warning of another 9/11).

Robert writes at Right Voices:

Al Qaeda and the Jihadists have announced through their surrogates that they sincerely hope Obama is elected. Now with so much at stake, like Al Qaeda getting their asses kicked and being finished in Iraq, you can be sure Al Qaeda has thoroughly vetted candidate Obama before giving him their endorsement and are pinning their hopes for "change they can believe in" on Obama. This just may be historic; I can't recall another election in which our enemies, whom we are actively at war with, have endorsed a Presidential candidate.
Of course we shouldn't be too surprised about the Russians and al-Qaeda supporting Obama; after all, according to a world poll Obama is greatly preferred over McCain. And doesn't Obama want to be president of the world?
