On Denial And Living In Obamaland
Topics: Political News and commentariesNot since Baghdad Bob epitomized the very essence of denial in the face of gross reality have I seen anything remotely similar, much less go beyond Baghdad Bob's nutty kind of denial:
That is, until now when I read Marc Ambinder's piece in which he artfully dances around the facts in denying Camp Obama's complicity in smearing Sarah Palin.
Marc has been living too deep in Obamaland too long and he's picked up the characteristic theme of truth being whatever you say it is with no regard for reality. Baghdad Bob has now been relieved of his command of the Denial Brigade, and has been replaced by Marc Ambinder. Surely Marc's new command isn't permanent though, after all, there's many others living in Obamaland who are certain to challenge him in the coming weeks - Obama himself being the guru of such thinking.
As Moe Lane astutely notes in his "Today's rhetorical question involving the Obama campaign's involvement in the anti-Palin astroturfing scandal," Who needs fantasy novels, when you've got the Obama campaign?
Today Marc Ambinder displayed his skill at writing one of the fantasy novels Moe refers to, in behalf of the Obama campaign saving them the time and the effort to deny the undeniable. Perhap's Marc's fantasy denial should be entitled "Baghdad Bob joins Camp Obama."

If he actually did so, would you be surprised? I know I wouldn't, Obama actually has a guy from the Muslim Brotherhood working with him.
