Iranian TV parrots Democrat talking points on McCain and Palin
Topics: Political News and commentaries
Let their be no doubt that the Iranians "heart" Obama, so much so, that they use his campaign's talking points - exactly:
A political talk show on Iranian state-run television last week featured criticism of US Republican candidates John McCain and Sarah Palin that almost word-for-word echoed the talking points of US Democrats. My first thought is that they've got to be kidding - but of course they're not - they are "deadly" serious - as in our death and they're serious about it.Interviewed on the show was Mohammed-Ali Fardanesh, a political science professor at a state-funded university, who characterized McCain as a dimwitted old man who will continue what he called the "awful" policies of the current US administration.
Moving on to Palin, Fardanesh focused almost solely on her perceived lack of experience, and insisted that she only became governor of Alaska because her predecessor was so corrupt the people would have voted for anyone else.
By contrast, Fardanesh completely ignored Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama's lack of executive experience, and lavished praise on the senator as a "highly educated" and "eloquent" man.
Obama's running mate, Senator Joe Biden, was portrayed as a "very respectable" man with a "good reputation."
Fardanesh, like many in the Muslim world, believes an Obama-Biden administration will be far more sensitive to the values and positions of Muslim nations and will therefore be able to repair America's international reputation.
"... Will be far more sensitive to the values and positions of Muslim nations and will therefore be able to repair America's international reputation."By caring so much about those "Muslim sensitivities and values" and repairing a so-called, greatly exagerated, "international reputation" the West has allowed the Iranians to develop a nuclear bomb and radical Islam to spread its ugly, destructive, deadly tentacles all over the planet. As for the "Eloquent," comment, what the Iranians really mean, but are cleverly phrasing it differently - is that Obama's all talk, no walk, and the suit is empty.""... a highly educated" and "eloquent" man.""
The last thing we need in the White House is a touchy, "feelly," liberal who cares more about being in lockstep with a declining Europe while hiding our national head in the sand as Islamists, through stealth and deed, plot and execute their plan to Islamicize the West.
Do they think we're nuts? Obviously, so!
Do ya get the idea that Iranians believe Obama's a much softer touch than John McCain?
And this is the guy that 46% of our electorate, for now, want protecting our nation? No, I don't think so; bad idea from the get-go!
