Buzz: Is Biden headed for the undercarriage of Obama's bus?

First let's make it clear that I have no inside information whatsoever, only questions. But I've had numerous emails from blogger-friends, a couple of whom do have some connections to friends who have connections to someone, somewhere, who has connections, etc..., etc..., that are hearing rumors of rumors of rumors that Barack Obama just might, maybe, perhaps is thinking about, and is about to have Joe Biden join Jeremiah Wright, and a growing host of others, under the Obama bus - to be replaced by Hillary - to counter the Sarah Palin phenomenon.

Is anyone out there hearing the same thing I am? Is there an October surprise for Biden? Extreme Mortman actually points to it visually. And Atlas Shrugs put this up yesterday:

We have received information from sources high in the Democratic Party that, in a cynical, desperation move, Hillary Rodham Clinton will replace the hapless Joe Biden as V-P candidate on the Obama ticket. I will send out more information on this within the next hour. Hillary Clinton has said that Barack H. Obama is not qualified to be Commander-in-Chief. He hasn't grown any more qualified presumably in the past few weeks. As the saying now goes, "It took a Republican woman [Sarah Palin] to have the Obama Dems name a woman to the ticket."

Whether or not Biden get's thrown under Obama's bus, Obama certainly has to be having some second thoughts about his judgment (along with the rest of the country, and not just about his judgment over selecting Biden - rather his judgment in general). However, given the Democratic Party's extreme obsession with power and control, and their willingness to do anything to win - up to and including attacking the disabilities of war heroes (also here)and attacking disabled infants while assigning legions of dirt diggers and dirty trick specialists (dirty trick specialists is my own characterization) to dig up dirt on its mother, I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Obama attempt to get Hillary to replace Joe Biden. Whether or not Hillary would accept is another matter.

And all this is beside
the fact that the Dems just don't get it. The Republicans haven't had a dramatic shift in electability because Sarah Palin is a woman; it's because of what Sarah Palin stands for. Hillary doesn't bring the same values to the table that Sarah Palin does, and doesn't bring the same level of accomplishment. What Sarah Palin has done has been done on her own, while what Hillary has accomplished has been done on the coattails of her husband. This is not to belittle what Hillary has had to go through or the role she's played in giving a voice to women, it's just that in Sarah Palin we're dealing with an entirely different level of accomplishment.
