With Palin, the GOP has their own 'The One'
Topics: Political News and commentariesI can't resist posting a comment from my previous post, "The Democrat's desperate attacks on Palin," put up by reader and fellow blogger, Carlos Echeverria, who blogs over at Let's get it right. His comment is a take-off of his post on Saturday, A Female Teddy Roosevelt."
The MSM are squirming, they are up against something they weren't expecting and don't know how to handle...I call attention here to his comment because it's the same kind of comment I've heard come out of the mouth of my wife off and on all day long ever since McCain picked Gov. Palin as his V.P., and she's a Hillary supporter. Now, my "former" Hillary supporter-turned avid Palin supporter wife actually wants to go out and help campaign for Palin, who she says is at the wrong end of the ticket but "it's a start for now."She is Teddy Roosevelt(female version), Maggie Thatcher, Wonder Woman, Annie Oakley transformed all into one.
She truly is the One we have been waiting for!

And when you think about it, this woman that McCain has picked is indeed, the Teddy Roosevelt of our time, "The One" so many women have been waiting for. I even heard Susan Estrich speak very favorably about Palin on Fox News yesterday, and I think I saw a hint of pride in Estrich when she smiled and talked about us now having a "PTA mom" running for Vice President of the United States of America. And as Monica Crowley says (HT - Lets Get It Right): "She hunts, shoots, has a lifetime membership in the NRA, ice fishes, is Christian and pro-life. ... A few months ago, Obama put down people like her, saying they 'cling to their guns and their religion.' "
So, when the MSM, Team Obama, and the Obamanauts want to criticize Palin as the mayor of a small town, a PTA mom, and a short-term governor of a hick state, let them bring it on - and the more they do, every time they do, it's like poking a stick in a hornet's nest, with the hornets - many like my wife, getting madder than hell every time they do it.
McCain is indeed, a crafty ole codger, and once again has outsmarted his critics.

Richard, I really appreciate you citing my comment and posting regarding Gov. Palin being the "One".
Isn't it awesome to throw their rhetoric right back at them???...and in our case legitimately!!!
I am honored because reading Hyscience & your daily posts is like my daily coffee!!! (and I drink a couple of cups a day)
Just one thing, my last name is Echevarria (it's definitely a mouthful, LOL, I know)
