''What Is Obama's Official, 'Legal' Name?''

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Is it Barack Hussein Obama or is it Barry Soetoro, the Indonesian identity that Obama acquired when Lolo Soetoro adopted him?

Did Obama put a fake Birth Certificate on his official campaign website because he wanted to hide his Indonesian identity, including his Muslim background and a Constitutional dual-citizenship matter, as TexasDarlin asserts?

I still find the Obama COLB issue a bit far fetched, but hell, anything that has the possibility of being true and helps to further expose this fraud for what he is, I say go for it.

Richard:

Barry possesses a US passport. As I read the Hyscience researchers' discovery, when Lolo Soetoro adopted Barry, his name was changed to Barry Soetoro.

Second, in order for Barry to attend the private schools in Indonesia, he was required to produce his name. From earlier reports, his Indonesian teachers referred to him as Barry and not Barack. Also, he was required to register at those schools as a Muslim.

In seems evident that in Indonesia, Barry Soetoro was (is) his name.

When his mother left Indonesia, with Barry, she may have returned to the USA with Barry, identified as Barack Obama by his old US passport. It is conceivable that his mother hid the Barry Soetoro identity and registered Barry in Hawaii schools with the name identified on his US passport.

The questions becomes, did Barry's mother ever clear up the name Barry was given on his adoption papers, identifying him as Barry Soetoro. I think not!

Furthermore, Barry has continued to renew his US passport with the name Barack Obama. I doubt that any request for a name change has ever been submitted.

Accordingly, legally, Barack Obama is Barry Soetoro ... until he officially changes his name to Barack Obama. He could change that name when he applies for naturalization as a US citizen.

Note: Recall the Imprimis post where Prof. Erler distinguishes between birthright and jurisdiction. Though Barry was born in the USA to at least one parent under the jurisdiction of the USA, that parent's willingness to allow Barry's adoption by a foreign national, in a foreign country that bars dual nationality, may have overridden his jurisdiction qualification. This is particularly true, if Barry held an Indonesian (ROI) passport. Consequently, Barry would be required to surrender to US jurisdiction in order to re-acquire US citizenship.

Has Barry done that?

It seems, from what has been uncovered thus far, that Barry has only renewed his US passport and overlooked (suprressed) his Indonesian citizenship.

Richard:

In extension of my previous comment, if Barry Soetoro never documented a name change when or after he re-entered the USA from Indonesia (ROI), he may have committed perjury when he signed his passport issuance oath.

Specifically, the initial issue in question would focus upon whether or not Barry Soetoro was Barack Obama or Barry Soetoro when he swore to the validity of the information that he provided to the US State Department's Passport Office. To re-become Barack Obama, he required a documented name change stating that effect. The US State Department would have a copy of that name change in order to issue the Barack Obama passport!

Simply, if the US State Department does not contain that name change documentation in their files, then an act of perjury has occurred. That act of perjury (maybe multiple offenses) should disqualify Barry's candidacy for POTUS.

Since he just traveled overseas, Barry cannot state that he does not possess a passport!

In jest, perhaps John McCain's criticism that Barry should travel to the Middle East (Iraq) contained a Trojan Horse!
