Damned this is going to be fun! Obama actually chose a guy who flunked college ROTC in college at a time our nation is essentially in a world wide war against radical Islam, and being threatened by an emerging and belligerent communist Russia.

About the only positive that I can extract from Biden's bio is that his son, a lawyer, will serve in Iraq in October 2008.
Obama & Biden are lawyers! Don't we have enough lawyers in Washington, DC already?

Harry, neither Obama or Biden have ever run anything, they have absolutely no management experience at all. Hopefully, McCain has enough common sense to name a VP that has run a state or a corporation. Better if it's a she.

Biden may have been chosen for his influence on the Senate Judiciary Committee. This selection would go hand-in-hand with our blog's interest in Obama's citizenship concerns.
I believe Secretary of State Rice would be good selection for the VP slot ... if the McCain camp is considering a female candidate. Also, her credentials are rooted in Denver where the Democrats will be holding their convention. Originally, she is from Alabama.
We have an influencial female governor in Hawaii with roots in California ... Linda Lingle.
Palin reads too much like a oil person to me. And, she is from Alaska with roots in Idaho. She does possess some Republican merit badges ... like pro-life!

Nice commentary, Harry. You covered good points but you forgot one thing about Palin that I keep telling you. She's HOT. HOT, HOT.
Besides, she's smart, big time politically savvy, and she's actually managed something - like the state of Alaska and a family. And let's not forget that with a chick on the ticket, Hillary's people will flock to McCain.
