Obama's Stunning Hypocrisy In Reversing Position On Offshore Drilling (Video)

Topics: Political News and commentaries

In yet another stunning Obama hypocrisy, after dropping ten points in the polls Obama went off on McCain calling for drilling now he does a total stunning reverse:

WASHINGTON -- Barack Obama Friday dropped his opposition to offshore oil drilling, saying he could go along with the idea if it was part of a broader energy package.

Obama made his comments in St. Petersburg during an interview with the Palm Beach Post. "My interest is in making sure we've got the kind of comprehensive energy policy that can bring down gas prices," he said.

"If, in order to get that passed, we have to compromise in terms of a careful, well thought-out drilling strategy that was carefully circumscribed to avoid significant environmental damage - I don't want to be so rigid that we can't get something done," the paper quoted Obama as saying.

The change is dramatic because Obama often pointed to his opposition to drilling as a key difference between himself and presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain.

Come to think of it, a "Stunning" reversal - not really, we've become accustomed to such with Obama. Whether it be from far left Marxist to right wing neocon on issues within a few short days, to now seeing far left Greenie to moderate, sensible, centrist on oil drilling, he'll do and say whatever the polls show he needs to say and to hell with principles, truth, and actual beliefs.

After all, when you have no principles, truth, and actual beliefs (except the Marxist far left radical ones that you cover-up for the general election), it's easy to say whatever the hell is necessary to win, right?

This guy's a clown and a unscrupulous south side Chicago politician, nothing more, and maybe even less - just a lying, say-anything-to-get-elected, Marxist.
