Kurtz has been using his absurd TV appearances in an awkward and dishonest attempt to play the terrorism card. His current ploy is to embellish the relationship between Barack and Ayers.

Just last night on Fox News, Kurtz drastically exaggerated Barack's connection with Ayers by claiming Ayers had recruited Barack to the board of the Annenberg Challenge. That is completely false and has been disproved in numerous press accounts.

It is absolutely unacceptable that WGN would give a slimy character assassin like Kurtz time for his divisive, destructive ranting on our public airwaves. At the very least, they should offer sane, honest rebuttal to every one of Kurtz's lies.

Kurtz is scheduled to appear from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the Chicago market.

Team Obama's thuggary is "Spinning out of Control." Jennifer Rubin writes:

This and this give a sense of the wild time Stanley Kurtz had on Chicago radio as Barack Obama supporters, with encouragement from the campaign, set out to try to shout him down and shut him up. This is further evidence, following the Obama team's own ad and their Justice Department claim, of the panic attack which appears to have gripped the campaign.

Is there something specific in the University of Chicago documents? Or is it the mere volume of documents substantiating the Ayers-Obama relationship which is the problem? If the latter, it will nevertheless be clear that Obama was lying when he characterized Ayers as just "a guy in the neighborhood"? Unclear why they are freaked out, but plainly they are and perhaps with good reason. Stay tuned.

"Stay tuned," indeed. We haven't heard or seen the last on this, and there is surely much more to come. And should American voters put these people in the White House, all of us will be seeing and hearing more Gestapo-like thuggery like Kurtz is now going through.

It is noteworthy that the Obama campaign's email to the candidate's acolytes says, "At the very least, they should offer sane, honest rebuttal to every one of Kurtz's lies," but fails to disclose that the radio station invited a representative of the campaign to appear on the show.
