No Surrender To Obama's Fascist Thugs

Although we've previously posted it, here again is the ad Barack Obama doesn't want you to see. Be sure to pass it on (HT - Michelle Malkin).

I cannot stress how outrageous the Obama campaign's attempt to silence the creators of the Ayers ad is. Mr. Hope and Change is applying Chicago-style mafia tactics to intimidate those who want to alert the nation to Obama's troubling ties to, and longtime relationship with, the unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist. Obama's lawyers and minions are playing hardball with TV stations that have dared to air the ad. They have the gall to champion campaign finance integrity -- even as Obama has just admitted hiding payments to his Chicago cronies at ACORN. The Obama campaign can't cite anything false or defamatory about the ad because it is accurate and truthful. This intimidation campaign is of a piece with the left-wing MoveOn effort to bully GOP donors. Remember?

Andy McCarthy puts the Obama's efforts in a perspective that even the most dim-witted liberal should be able to understand:

(I'm) with my fellow Cornerites in general on the foolishness of the Obama campaign's Ayers ad (and, as Jonah discusses, the obtuseness of a Left which can't or won't see why Americans would be alarmed by Obama's relationship with an unrepentant terrorist).

The only two cents I'd add is that a real story -- and one that should alarm people -- is that this is what Obama thinks the Justice Department is for. Here is a guy who fought the Patriot Act, fought surveillance reform, has spoken admiringly of Ayer's radical views of the criminal justice system, and has a record as a Chicago legislator of being soft on violent crime. He is evidently ambivalent about going after terrorists and hardened criminals, but he wants to mobilize the Justice Department post haste to suppress political speech that he doesn't like.

I regard that as more than a little disconcerting from a guy who wants to be president, pick the next attorney-general, and make U.S. law enforcement policy.

I can't help but wonder if America will wake up to the danger of having Obama as president - before it's too late. Obama and the people he surrounds himself with are a very scary sub-population of the American culture.
