New Obama Ad Is A Major Blooper
Topics: Political News and commentariesOnce again Obama has got his facts wrong - but this time he really stuck his foot in his big mouth. In his newest ad, he accuses John McCain of being "in the pocket" of the oil industry:
However, corporations can't make donations to federal candidates and Obama has received more donations from employees of oil and gas companies than McCain has.
Jeff Dobbs at The Voice in My Head offers up a logo (with commentary) that helps to point out Obama's disgraceful stretching of the truth (while McCain has received three times more money from the oil industry in general -- $1.3 million for McCain compared to approximately $394,000 for Obama, it is Obama, not McCain, that has received more campaign cash from the oil industry through employees of some of the biggest oil companies -- Exxon, Chevron and BP.
Stop the ACLU has additional commentary.
