Intrade Activity Indicates It's Pawlenty (Updated)
Topics: Political News and commentariesIf you're a betting person, the odds-on favorite at Intrade to be McCain's VP is Pawlenty.
This is the activity on Pawlenty today, who has been climbing significantly this afternoon:

Here is the activity on Romney today, who's consistently been favored and has been significantly dropping this afternoon:
All other possibilities listed at Intrade have either been tanking this afternoon or have remained so far down it doesn't even matter - including my favorite choice - Sarah Palin.
So, as was posted here at Hyscience earlier today, it's likely Pawlenty, which I believe is a huge mistake. It should be a woman, and the election is a done deal for McCain. Otherwise, it's going to be a long and hard election and one that McCain is likely to lose.
By the way, all four panelists on Fox News (Barnes, Krystol, etc.) are "guessing" it's Pawlenty. Ergo, I'm guessing it's Pawlenty also (since I still have no clue and will go by what the Fox folks are saying and Intrade is showing likely), and I'm disappointed.

NRO UPDATE: A reader tells me that on InTrade, "Romney has cratered to 12, Pawlenty is up past 70."Here's the 9 p.m. graph on Pawlenty from Intrade:
Yep, it's looking more and more like the Pawlenty rumors may be right. This or the McCain camp is doing a hell of a head fake.
